Homepage

Overview
A research, advocacy, and impact platform for Thousand Hills Research and Action Collective (TRAC) — supporting evidence-based policy dialogue, event management, and community transformation across Africa.
The Problem
TRAC Africa needed a digital presence and operational backbone to match its mission of bridging research and policy action across the continent — but had no way to publish research and editorial content, manage events (conferences, policy dialogues, trainings) with registration and reminders, showcase its partner network and testimonials, or track site engagement, all while running as a lean research organisation without dedicated in-house development or IT staff.
Our Solution
TeamO built a full public website and admin platform for TRAC Africa's three pillars — Capacity Building, Research & Evaluation, and Science Advocacy: a public site (home, about, services, team, events, resources, blog) backed by an admin system for a full editorial workflow (blog posts, authors, comments, and public submissions), event management with registration and automated batch email reminders, partner and testimonial management, a resources library, and an analytics dashboard for engagement tracking. Email templates and SMTP settings are configurable directly from the admin, with role-based admin-user accounts controlling access.

Development Journey
Event Recordings
The Resources page hosts recordings from TRAC's research and advocacy events.
Past Events
A running record of TRAC's past events, supporting the platform's community transformation work across Africa.
Results
Live in production at tracafrica.com, giving TRAC Africa's team a self-service platform to publish research and editorial content, run events end-to-end from registration through automated reminder emails, and showcase its partner network and impact — without depending on external developers for day-to-day content and event operations.
