Anzisha Fellowship 2027 for Young African Entrepreneurs (ages 15–22)

Offered by Anzisha Prize

A multi-year fellowship for African entrepreneurs aged 15–22 who already run a business with customers, sales or beneficiaries. Free to apply; applications close 10 November 2026.

About this opportunity

The Anzisha Fellowship looks for very young African entrepreneurs — aged 15 to 22 — who are already building real businesses, and supports them through a multi-year programme designed to strengthen their ventures, help them grow, and increase the number of jobs they can create.

It is not for ideas. To apply you must be a founding member of a business, invention or social project that is already running and can show real activity, such as customers, sales or beneficiaries. The business does not need to be formally registered, and it can be in any sector or industry, but it must operate in Africa and serve African customers or beneficiaries. Applicants must be citizens of an African country with a valid ID or passport.

Applications for the 2027 intake opened on 29 September 2026 and close on 10 November 2026. The organisers evaluate applications between November 2026 and March 2027 and announce the new fellows in May 2027. An application guide listing eligibility requirements, documents and the images you need is available on the official page in English, Arabic, French and Portuguese. Applying is free — no fees are charged.
