Overview
A classifieds marketplace, live at charymeld-adverts.teamodigitalsolutions.com — buy, sell, and discover products, services, and jobs, with a publisher ad network, KYC-verified advertisers, and an AI assistant guiding new users.
The Problem
Buyers and sellers had no dedicated classifieds marketplace combining product, service, and job listings with trusted verification. Existing options offered no fraud protection, no structured KYC-backed advertiser verification, and no way for publishers or partners to monetise ad space or earn referral income, leaving buy/sell/discover transactions running through informal, unverified channels.
Our Solution
TeamO built CharyMeld Adverts, a Laravel classifieds marketplace with a three-role system (Admin, Advertiser, Publisher). Adverts support multi-image upload, tiered pricing (Regular/Featured/Premium), and an admin moderation workflow, with Paystack and Flutterwave payment integration triggering webhook-based automatic activation. A KYC verification system captures NIN, ID documents, proof of address, and CAC business registration for corporate accounts, reviewed through an admin approval workflow. A publisher ad network lets partners create ad zones, track impressions/clicks/conversions in real time, earn revenue-share commissions, and request payouts. Fraud protection includes bot detection, rate limiting, click-fraud prevention, and payment velocity/geographic anomaly checks, backed by an hourly automated monitoring job. A context-aware AI assistant guides new users through a step-by-step platform tour and escalates to live admin support when needed, and a referral programme pays 20% recurring commission with real-time tracking and monthly bank payouts. The platform runs on Meilisearch for fast search and filtering by category, location, price, and keyword, and is installable as a PWA.
