Overview
A member and fellowship management platform for the Fellowship of NKST Students (FNKSTS) — connecting members across 20 chapters at 16 tertiary institutions and 4 secondary schools in Nigeria since 1993, with fellowship groups, real-time chat, chapter administration, and offline-capable progressive web app access.
The Problem
FNKSTS had grown from 11 attendees at its founding on 14 February 1993 to thousands of members spread across 20 chapters — 16 tertiary institutions and 4 secondary schools spanning Benue, Cross River, Kaduna, Nasarawa, and Taraba states — with no digital platform to hold it together. Leadership had no way to reach members across chapters with announcements, members had no shared space to connect outside physical meetings, graduated members lost touch with the fellowship entirely once they left, and there was no secure system for chapter administration or membership records.
Our Solution
TeamO built a PHP/MySQL member and fellowship management platform: a social feed for posts, updates, and videos; real-time direct and group messaging; fellowship groups for units like Choir, MIM, BB, and GB; and a media gallery for event photos and videos. A role-based leadership system (President, Vice President, Secretary, Organizing Secretary, Executive, Media Team) gives chapter and national leadership tools to publish announcements, manage members, and monitor a security dashboard, with SMS integration for reaching members who lack app access. A dedicated Alumni Forum organises graduated members into three zonal structures — Makurdi, Gboko, and Katsina-Ala — so the fellowship stays connected after graduation. Built as a progressive web app with offline support, push notifications, and install-to-home-screen access, so members with limited or intermittent data are not locked out. Security includes SQL injection prevention, XSS protection, CSRF tokens, and two-factor authentication support.

Results
Live in production at fnksts.teamoranch.com, giving FNKSTS's leadership and its thousands of members across all 20 chapters a single coordinated platform — replacing word-of-mouth and disconnected chapter communication with real-time messaging, centralised announcements, and an organised alumni record spanning three zones.
