Overview
An academic and administrative management information system for the University of Ibadan School of Business, live at uisb.teamodigitalsolutions.com — covering courses, attendance, results, and role-based reporting for students, lecturers, and administrators.
The Problem
UISB ran its academic operations — course enrolment, attendance, results, and transcripts — through manual, disconnected processes, with no formal pipeline for lecturers to submit results for review and approval, no reliable way to verify attendance was genuine, and no single system giving students, lecturers, and administrators role-based access to programme, course, and specialisation records across the school's programmes.
Our Solution
TeamO built a CodeIgniter 4 academic and administrative management information system covering programmes, courses, specialisations, and academic sessions; attendance sessions validated by geolocation to confirm authenticity; a results pipeline from submission through review to approval, with generated transcripts and certificates; and role-based dashboards for students, lecturers, and administrators. A separate Hub Management area covers the school's affiliated income-generating units — farm, store, cybercafé, and transport — under the same system.

Live in production at uisb.teamodigitalsolutions.com, currently serving 236 students, 48 lecturers, and 288 total users across 4 programmes and 33 specialisations (including MBA Agribusiness, Entrepreneurship, Finance and Accounting, and Marketing), with 149 active courses and 623 results already approved through the review pipeline.
