Overview
A point-of-sale, inventory, and livestock records management system for TeamO Ranch, live at records.teamoranch.com — covering sales, customers, inventory, livestock population, expenses, and financial reporting, with real operational history dating back to 2017.
The Problem
TeamO Ranch ran sales, customer records, inventory, livestock population, and expenses through disconnected paper and spreadsheet records going back to 2017. There was no point-of-sale system to record transactions and auto-generate invoices, no way to track stock levels against sales in real time, no structured way to log livestock births, purchases, mortality, and transfers by category, and no consolidated profit & loss view across the business.
Our Solution
TeamO built a Flask/SQLite point-of-sale and records management system: a POS-style sales flow that picks a customer and products, auto-generates sequential invoices, and auto-decrements inventory via database triggers; customer records with purchase history; per-product inventory tracking with stock-in, adjustments, minimum-stock alerts, and full movement history; livestock population tracking by category (births, purchases, mortality, transfers, sales), later extended to individual animal and batch-level tracking; expense recording against categorised business costs; and Sales, Expenses, Inventory, Livestock, and P&L reports exportable to Excel and PDF. Role-based access separates Admin from Employee users, with a full audit log tracking every significant write.

Results
Live in production at records.teamoranch.com with real operational history dating back to 2017 — 865 customers, 4,448 recorded sales transactions totalling over ₦37.8 million, 30 products, 136 recorded expenses, 27 employees, and 652 head of livestock currently tracked across 9 batches — giving TeamO Ranch a single system for point-of-sale, inventory, livestock, and financial reporting in place of paper and spreadsheets.
